Humanoid Robotics
Humanoid robots introduce new and attractive pedagogical topics and apply PBL (Project-Based Learning) approaches. They help students develop problem solving and analytical skills, required to succeed in a knowledge-based and highly technological society. With tailored and flexible teaching programs, Humanoid Robots improve self-motivation in learning STEAM (Sciences, Technologies, Engineering, Arts and Maths) subjects and encourage development of creativity.
We offer world famous Humaoids from all over the globe as under.
NAO6
PEPPER
JD
NAO by Softbank Robotics is a tremendous programming tool and he has especially become a standard in education and research.
58cm in height, NAO is a bipedal robot with pleasantly rounded features. NAO has constantly evolved since the beginning of his adventure in 2006 and the 6th version (NAO6), launched in 2018, integrates a new CPU which enhances his performance.
Pepper by Softbank Robotics is the world’s first social humanoid robot able to recognize faces and basic human emotions. Pepper was optimized for human interaction and is able to engage with people through conversation and his touch screen.
Pepper is available today for businesses and schools. Over 2,000 companies around the world have adopted Pepper as an assistant to welcome, inform and guide visitors in an innovative way.
JD-HUMANOID by EZ-Robot is a powerful, versatile and easy-to-use robotics platform that is perfect for helping students and adults learn robotics, coding, and a range of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) concepts and lessons. Once educators learn the basic operations of the robot, they’ll be able to apply that knowledge to a broad range of STEM subjects, as well as art, music and drama.
Robotic Arms & Manipulators
In Robotics, Manipulator is a device used to manipulate materials without direct physical contact by the operator. The applications were originally for dealing with radioactive or biohazardous materials, using robotic arms, or they were used in inaccessible places. A robotic arm is a type of mechanical arm, usually programmable, with similar functions to a human arm; the arm may be the sum total of the mechanism or may be part of a more complex robot.
We offer a wide range of Robotic Arms & Manipulators ranging from very basic learning modules to high-tech industrial learning platforms.
NED
5-DOF
6-DOF
Discover Ned, our new 6-axis collaborative robot based on open-source technologies designed for Education, Vocational Training and Research.
With the Niryo One, many schools have been able to offer their students to learn Robotics and industry 4.0 directly with a 6-axis robot, open-source and similar in design to industrial robots.
Adeept Arduino Compatible DIY 5-DOF Robotic Arm Kit for Arduino UNO R3 | STEAM Robot Arm Kit with Arduino and Processing Code.
This is a desktop mini robotic arm, which can do a lot of things. It is developed based on Arduino and can be controlled in more than one way. It’s totally open source so you can extend more self-defined functions and operations.
xArm2.0 robotic arm is powered by Scratch and Python for program learning and teaching. Equipped with sensors and high-quality servos, the robotic arm supports the running of different program targets with the controls of PC software, APP, PS2 handle controller and infrared remote controller. The detailed tutorials will help you to better understand the working principle of the robotic arm and inverse kinematics algorithm.
DIY Robotic Kits
A robot kit is a special construction kit for building robots, especially autonomous mobile robots. DIY Robot kits are also supplied by several companies. They are mostly made of plastics elements like Lego Mindstorms, rero Reconfigurable Robot kit, the Robotis Bioloid, Robobuilder, the ROBO-BOX-3.0 (produced by Inex), and the lesser-known KAI Robot (produced by Kaimax), or aluminium elements like Lynxmotion’s Servo Erector Set and the qfix kit. Some robots, such as Ebdot, come ready-assembled. The kits can consist of: structural elements, mechanical elements, motors (or other actuators), sensors and a controller board to control the inputs and outputs of the robot. In some cases, the kits can be available without electronics as well, to provide the user the opportunity to use his or her own.
LEGO
SPIDER
HEXAPOD
LEGO® MINDSTORMS® Education EV3 Core Set is a hands-on, cross-curricular STEM solution that engages students by providing the resources to design, build and program their creations while helping them develop essential skills such as creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and communication. The set is delivered in a sturdy storage bin with a sorting tray, three Servo Motors, five Sensors (Gyro, Ultrasonic, Color and 2x Touch), a EV3 Rechargeable DC Battery (with charging cable) and connecting cables.
Developed based on Arduino, this 6 Legs spider robot simulates the movements of 6-leg insects via programming in the Arduino IDE and controlling 19 servos. Hexapod robot, or spider robot, is one type of multi-legged robots. The design of this robot is derived from insects in nature, especially principles of their movement. In this robot kit, a complete set of hardware devices are provided as well as example code for your learning. You can also write the code for control by yourself. By programming the robot, you can control each leg and even each joint, and truly feel the thrill and joy of learning and making.
This is an awesome open source hexapod spider robot which allows anyone to build their own walking robot with no prior knowledge in robotics.
The robot was designed by Adeept to help beginners as well as more advanced robot enthusiasts get into the exciting world of robotics. The robot kit includes everything needed to assemble and start having fun with your very own hexapod Robot! From the high quality acrylic structure/body and fasteners that make up the body of the robot to the custom printed circuit board, pre-programmed Arduino controller, Ultrasonic Range Sensor and ESP8266 WiFi Module.
